How to Adopt & Other Info

Please reach us at AtEaseAcres@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our puppies are $2,000.00 (For Non Breeding Rights)and the $300.00 non refundable deposit is applied to this total price.

* A spay/neuter contract is required to be signed.

Puppies must be paid for in full before they can go to their forever homes.

Families looking for their next corgi pup can follow these steps below:

1 - Complete the puppy application (link is below), once this is completed please allow 24-48 hrs for us to review it.  Once we review your application we will be in touch via email.

https://form.jotform.com/221024946999165

2 - Once your application is approved you will be asked to send a non refundable deposit of $300.00.  This will be applied to the final cost of the puppy and also reserves you a spot on the waiting list of your choosing.

** If when puppies are born there is not enough puppies, or the gender/color you would like if not available your deposit can be rolled to another litter.

** A DEPOSIT CAN ONLY BE ROLLED TO ANOTHER LITTER TWICE.  After rolling a deposit two times if you do not purchase a puppy when there are puppies available then you will forfeit your deposit and spot on the waiting lists.

WAYS TO PAY YOUR DEPOSIT: We accept Venmo, Paypal or Cash.

3 - Once puppies arrive all families on the waiting list will be notified and then around 4-5 weeks of age we will have puppy pick out visits.  We do these in person and also virtually.  This is the way that we can get to know each family, their lifestyle, etc and help them find their perfect puppy.

** PUPPY PICK OUT VISITS ARE DONE ALL ON THE SAME DAY EITHER IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY.  THEY ARE DONE IN THE ORDER OF THE WAITING LIST.  We do them all on the same day at different times to be as fair as possible to everyone on a waiting list.  The waiting list is created in the order in which we receive deposits.

** NO OTHER PETS ARE ALLOWED TO VISIT WITH YOUR FAMILY DURING PUPPY PICK OUTS.

This policy is to ensure the health and safety of the puppies who cannot be vaccinated until 6 weeks of age.

The mother's also DO NOT feel comfortable with other animals around their litters of puppies and are protective.

This is not just for the safety of our dogs but for your pets as well.

Any pets brought to the visit will be told to be left in your vehicle during the entire time of the visit.

4 - Puppies will then be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age.  If you are not able to bring your puppy home at 8 weeks of age, please let us know this either at or prior to the puppy pick out visit.

** There will be a charge of an additional $25.00 for every week that a puppy stays with us.  If additional vaccinations are needed outside of the two rounds of puppy vaccinations that are included in order to keep your puppy up to date on their vaccinations,  those will be at the new families expense to be paid to us.

5 - Payment: The balance of the puppy payment is due either prior (if paying electronically) to the puppy pick up day or at the day of pick up.  Payment must be in full before a puppy can go to their new homes.

BIRTH TO 8 WEEKS:

Our Corgi puppies are raised with constant attention and care, allowing us to keep detailed Corgi health records for each litter as we monitor their growth daily. Our interactions with these adorable puppies begin at birth, involving frequent checking and holding to ensure they receive the love they need.

At 3-4 weeks old, once the puppies start to walk, we introduce a litter box filled with pine pellets. We carefully place them in the box after they wake from naps or when we notice them starting to go. Within a week, they quickly learn to use the box for potty training, which helps in their development. By the time they go home, they have a solid understanding of potty training basics, which can be especially helpful for those who prefer to wait for outdoor potty training until their bladders are a bit larger. This early training instills the concept of designated potty spots and cleanliness from the start. Weather permitting, and once the puppies are mature enough, we also begin outside potty training.

As they grow older, we introduce them to a variety of smells, sounds, and sights. Daily, we socialize and pet them to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones. When the weather allows, we take the litter on field trips around our property, exposing them to different areas, walking surfaces, and experiences.

By the time the puppies are 7 weeks old, we introduce a crate into their pen so they can become accustomed to sleeping in it, learning that a crate is a safe place.

Additionally, we take weekly photos and videos to share on our Facebook and Instagram pages, allowing you to follow along on their growth journey and save memories.

By six weeks of age, the mother begins to wean the litter, and they transition to solid foods. We start this process with puppy mush around 3 weeks once their eyes are open and they are moving about. Gradually, we increase to harder food weekly until they are fully on solid foods. We also ensure their health by de-worming them at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, followed by the first in a series of core puppy vaccines at 6 weeks, and then a second vaccination at 8 weeks before they head to their forever homes. A third vaccination will be needed once the puppies are settled in their new homes, along with rabies vaccinations.

We are dedicated to providing you with the best possible furry best friend, investing significant time into planning our litters, conducting health testing on our breeding dogs, and vetting future families. For those curious about Corgi puppy pricing, we provide transparent information to ensure everyone has a clear understanding.

Once you bring your new best friend home, we remain available for any questions that may arise. We offer lifetime support and hope to receive periodic updates on your Corgi's progress, ensuring a joyful journey together.

Yes!  All our corgi parents have been health tested for DM, HC, EIC, VWD1 and PRA-RCD3.  We will supply copies of health testing results on request.

Our family has been raising Corgis since 2007 and our parents raised them before us for many many years.  We truly believe that our breeding program is a family operation and our children are actively involved as well.  Herding breeds like Corgis are a passion of our family, one that we hope to continue for a third generation.

Each of our puppies goes home with essential items to ensure a smooth transition, including the first two rounds of vaccinations and four de-wormings, along with detailed Corgi health records. We also provide puppy toys, a small bag of puppy food, and a blanket or stuffed toy that carries the comforting scent of their mom and litter.

Located in Berne, New York—just about 40 minutes from Albany International Airport—we invite you to contact us for more information on Corgi puppy pricing and our transport services for puppies going out of state. Additionally, we offer guidance on Corgi puppy training to help you start your journey with your new furry friend.

We do allow potential corgi families to come and visit but under the following policies:

1 - Yes but please no “Drop In" visits are allowed.  We are a farming family and we ask that all visits be prescheduled.

2 - If we currently have a litter of puppies, visitors will not be allowed to come into contact with those puppies they are not on a waiting list for.  This is for the safety of the puppies and the respect of the puppies assigned families.

3 - No OUTSIDE PETS are allowed to visit our property.  This is a policy we take very seriously and it is for your pets safety, the safety and health of our own dogs and for the puppies that we are raising as well as the respect for our corgi puppy families.  This is a strict policy and outside pets will not be allowed.

4 - We do ask that only serious puppy buyers schedule a visit.  We do not mean to be rude but we are a busy family with children who have busy schedules as well as a working farming family.  We ask that you respect our time and only schedule a visit if you plan on putting a deposit down on one of our litters.  Thanks!

Yes, we spend a lot of time with our puppies.  They are apart of our family and raised with our children as well as our other dogs.  We believe that well socialized puppies adjust better to new environments and make better dogs for your family.

Our puppies will be vaccinated with their first puppy vaccination at 6 weeks of age while with us and will need to then follow up with their families vet to finish their vaccinations once they leave our home at 8 weeks of age.

Puppies are de-wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age.

Health records with all de-worming and vaccination information is provided to the new puppy families when puppies leave our home.

Puppies are available to leave our home no earlier than 8 weeks of age.

Puppy families are encouraged to reach out to us for any reason after taking their puppies home.  We can be reached via our website, email, phone or social media.  We love updates as well!

Yes we do require all potential buyers to fill out a puppy application before being added to one of our litters waiting lists:

https://form.jotform.com/221024946999165

We are looking for families or individuals who not only have time for one of our puppies but are looking to make them a family member.  We strongly encourage puppy buyers to have corgi or herding dog experience or experience with a similar type of breed.

Once a potential family or individual has filled out and been approved on our puppy application we require a non refundable deposit to be added to the waiting list of their choosing.  Puppy selection of the litter they chose will be done in deposit order.  If for some reason the potential buyer cannot take or get a puppy from that litter then the deposit is able to be rolled to a different litter in the future.

** A DEPOSIT CAN ONLY BE ROLLED TO ANOTHER LITTER TWICE.  After rolling a deposit two times if you do not purchase a puppy when there are puppies available then you will forfeit your deposit and spot on the waiting lists.
